Summer Retreat: Part 7

While Daddy's away... We will still play!

After two weeks of precious time with our daddy, he left to go back and work for about a week and half. It was hard to see him go, but we continued on and played at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Annie was in heaven with all of the princess dress-up clothes!

Both Annie and Shae were able to catch a few rides on the four-wheeler and tractor.

Annie received her FIRST HAIRCUT! It looks adorable.

She did really well as it was being cut! She enjoys being pampered... That's my girl.

I had my hair colored and cut too! Grandma hung out with the kiddos during that time - Yay for Grandma! They even got the stroller out and went for a little walk.

Grandpa hooked up the bike trailer and took Annie on a little bike ride, or two. She was in HEAVEN.

Every time I asked her if she wanted to go for a bike ride, she would squeal with delight and run over to find her helmet. THANK YOU GRANDPA!

Relaxing.

Shae ate some rice cereal for the first time and LOVED it! Can you tell?

Uncle Brad introduced Annie to her first "tattoos"... smurfs! :)

Of coarse the food there was delicious! In the picture below, Katelyn and Annie are enjoying some pancakes and smoothie.

Annie was also able to wash the dog, Sugar, with Grandpa. She was so determined to get it right. Once they were finished, Annie was soaking wet. But she didn't mind a bit!

Shae enjoyed sitting on the grass :)

Annie loves driving the boat with Grandpa.

"Kick! Kick! Kick"

Just about every day, Annie would go outside with Grandma and pick some strawberries and tomatoes. She would immediately gobble up the strawberries, then left the tomatoes for Grandma to eat :)

We love Grandpa and Grandma's house!
