Three Weeks Old!

Notice Annie banging together her little pans to get his attention? She is the BEST helper :)
That tongue... Always sticking out :)
We sure love this boy. Can't get enough of his squishy cheeks and funny expressions.

Grammy's Birthday Celebration

We had some visitors last weekend!
Nathan's mom drove down with his two siblings, Hannah and James. It was so nice to catch up and introduce them to Grant.
One of the many games Grammy played with the girls... They were well entertained :)
Saturday night, we were lucky enough to celebrate Grammy's birthday with her!
Nathan made a delicious dinner then Shae and I made a lemon pudding cake. It was a fun night.
James and Shae stuck together most of the weekend. They have a sweet bond.
Thanks for coming family! We love your company!

Our Sunny Saturday

We spent our sunny Saturday at the park! This was our first family outing since Grant was born :)
Grant stayed warm and snug in the Moby wrap, fast asleep.
And just because he is so cute... here is a funny, cross-eyed picture of Grant. He keeps us laughing and doesn't even know it :)

Meeting Grant

A few days after Grant was born, Mom flew in to help me. She did EVERYTHING... Cook, clean and keep the girls busy and happy. Shae was attached to her hip and both girls were constantly talking her ear off.

I pretty much hibernated in my bedroom with Grant - sleeping, eating (meals prepared and brought to me by mom), and listening to the hilarious conversations going back and forth between my mom and the girls.
My chunky monkey :)
Towards the end of the week, Dad and Carmen came to meet Grant as well. The girls were thrilled to have so many visitors!
Annie and Shae soaked up every minute they could with Aunt Carmen. They had a few dance parties, painted fingernails, and read endless amounts of books.
Thanks for coming fam! Especially Mom! Couldn't have made it through without you!
Love you all.

Introducing Grant Nathan Cope!

January 4, 2014
3:24 pm
7 pounds, 7 ounces
20 inches long
Strawberry Blond Hair
One Big Push!

We are in love.
Grant is perfect in every way.
He nurses like a champ, so alert, content, happy, and is already looking like his daddy.
Can't get enough of those wrinkles.
Meeting their little brother for the first time...
Big yawns...
The following are a few pictures taken on my phone...
Finally Home!
We are beyond blessed to have Grant in our home. It seems as though he has always been here. It amazes me how someone so tiny can bring so much joy into our home.
We love you Grant!
