Uncle James is 18!

James had a birthday recently, we were lucky enough to have him spend it at our place!
We spent the day in Spokane with James, Katie, and Everett. That evening, Papa, Andrea, Sara, Rachel, Elise, Great Grandma Cope, and Uncle Tony with his daughters came over for some cake.
James and Katie stayed the night to open presents and party a little longer.
Crazy to think James is 18!! I remember when he was born. Chubby cheeks and all.

Hiking in Liberty Lake

Saturday, we headed over to the Liberty Lake Regional Park to hike the beautiful trails. The plan from the beginning was to make it to the waterfall, but once we arrived, we wanted more. So, we continued through more intense switch backs and came to Camp Hughes Cabin. There we sat down, took a break, and ate some lunch before heading back down the trail. We hiked a total of 8 1/2 miles and gained about 1200 feet in elevation.
Aside from Shae's bee sting and a few scraped knees, it was a great day!

A visit from the Bledsoe Fam

These kids have been playing HARD for the last two days.
Aunt Katie traced them with chalk and they helped draw in the details... Coolest mom!
Uncle Jordan created a massive hopscotch that took up our entire court. The kids loved it!
Little Everett sharing his kisses... Grant was a little uncomfortable ;) I loved watching them interact.
Notice the big red mark on Grant's head? He fell on the concrete... head first. Not only did it dent it, there's a nice strawberry on top as well. This picture does not do it justice. Poor boy.
Sweet Everett cheesin' for the camera...
Katie and Annie drew pictures for more than an hour... Annie was in heaven.
We decided to venture out to the splash park as well. The kids had a blast.
It's always a party when cousins come into town!
I'm pretty sure we wore them out, completely.
Thanks for the visit Bledsoes! We love you!

Greenacres Park

We discovered an awesome park at playgroup this week. It was fun reconnecting with friends from our previous ward!
I can't get enough of these candid pictures. They make me love and appreciate the little things my kids do daily.
This picture cracks me up. I had just asked Annie to take Grant through a sprinkler to cool him off. He wasn't too happy about it. Annie and I thought it was hilarious how he stomped off.
Chowing down on the goldfish... his favorite.
Grenacres Park... we will be visiting you again soon.
