Happy Halloween!

Outfit #1...
Outfit #2

We had a great Halloween! It all started out with a quick trip to Walmart to get some accessories for our costumes. Then we baked some Halloween sugar cookies, frosted them, and then topped them off with orange and black sprinkles. We took a plate of the cookies to our ward Halloween party. We dressed up as a Greek God, Goddess, and baby Goddess :) After the party we finished the night with little trunk or treating. It's amazing how much candy you can get holding a baby!

My 23rd Birthday

Yesterday I turned 23! The day started out with a delicious breakfast in bed. Nathan also made sure to wake up Annie (2 hours before she normally wakes up) because evidently, "Annie wanted to be woken up to serve mom breakfast too". She was exhausted and fell back asleep right after breakfast was finished. Nathan fixed french toast, sausage, and eggs, my favorites!

When he got home from work I opened my presents. Annie also "bought" me a present, a new shirt, which I loved. Funny story about that... Nathan wrapped Annie's gift then wrote on the wrapping, "To Mom... Love, (then traced Annie's little hand). I then looked at Annie's hand and it was covered in brown marker. Evidently, "she wouldn't sit still", typical 6 month old :) I quickly wiped it up before she decided to suck it off.

Later that night, Nathan made me dinner and invited a few of our friends over to have some cake and ice cream. He made a rainbow chip cake. I know I may be a bit too old for it, but it's still my favorite! It was delicious.
Some of our closest friends!
"The Roommates"- I love how Annie is the only one looking at the camera.
After the party, Annie was in a very snugly mood, which was a perfect way to end the day!
And last but not least... my wonderful, exhausted, husband, who spoiled me all day long! Only 364 more days till my next birthday!

Another Beautiful Sunday!

There are two reasons why we took this picture today:
1. Annie got a new dress... and tights to match :)
2. We finally got a kitchen table!! We love it because it fits perfectly in our apartment. Both of the sides fold down so we hardly even know it is there.

Today we had Stake Conference, so church started at 10:00 rather than 1:30. It was so much nicer going in the morning! Annie enjoyed the time change too. She was much happier, which in turn makes me in a good mood! It's a good day.

Crazy Girl

She thinks it's so funny to have her bowl on her head. Sometimes I think how nice it would be to be a baby still... not a care in the world!

Six Months Old

Today Annie is six months old!
I threw her a little party since she is already half a year old!
It was basically a nice excuse to have some cake... But don't tell Annie that! :)
Some close friends of mine came to celebrate!
Annie had fun being passed around and held by all the girls.
Also, we recently purchased a fun bouncer/activity center for Annie. She loves it! It keeps her busy and happy.
Once again, another month has gone by. Before I know it, she will be a year old. Where does time go? We love you Annie!!

Stretching

We went for a long walk/run today, so Michelle is helping out Annie with her stretching techniques. We wouldn't want her muscles to be sore.

Entertained

I do not know what I would do without Nathan's help with Annie. When it is closer to her bedtime Annie tends to get pretty fussy. That's when Nathan comes into play and entertains her until she is ready for bed. Tonight he put her in her highchair and put a bunch of toys in front of her while he was doing the dishes. He got her laughing so hard, as one can see from the picture below.
Here is one view...
And here is another view... If you could not tell, all of her toys are gone. She thinks it is so funny to throw, yes THROW, them off the counter. She sure loves her Daddy!

Camping in the Snow

Friday night Nathan was able to go camping with his buddy in the Teton Mountains. The only downfall is that it was freezing cold and snowing. He went up to Darby canyon and hiked to wind cave. It was a three mile hike with an 18 hundred foot elevation change. They started their hike at 10:00 pm and finished at 2:00 am. In the picture above they are by a waterfall. The waterfall itself was not frozen, just the puddle underneath. As the water hit the ground, it would freeze. Nathan said it was beautiful there, so next summer we are all going to visit!
