Taking a Break

Today we were suppose to move into our new apartment, but long story short, we were unable to. Instead we will be moving in next Tuesday... lovely. So, rather than sitting in our hot apartment that is completely packed with boxes reaching the ceiling, we went to subway to get lunch and brought it to the park! It was so nice to get away from the mess of moving.

"Wow. I cannot believe I just did that.... I need a nap".

Mesa Falls

This afternoon, we had the chance to go to Mesa Falls. First we went to the Upper Falls...

Then we went to the Lower Falls. It was beautiful!!

Four Months Old

Our little girl is growing up way too fast! It has been so fun watching her reach new milestones and getting to know her darling personality even more. Every day Nathan and I are blessed by her presence and could not be more happy to have her in our life. We are so grateful for our sweet, little Annie!!

No Words...

So the other day I was going through all of Annie's clothes and boxing up the ones that are too small. She is now wearing sizes 6 months and up! I stumbled upon this bonnet and these boots, then tried them on her to see if they still fit... the bonnet is a bit small (which she never wore), but the boots still fit with room to grow! With an outfit like this, I couldn't resist taking a few pictures :)

Summer Getaway

This last week we had the chance to head up to the Hayden Lake/Coeur d'Alene area to spend some time with our family. Annie and I flew up on a Wednesday and we were able to stay a whole week! Below is a picture of Annie sleeping on Grandpa after a long day of traveling... she was exhausted and so was I.

Megan and Brexton were able to come up too! Bart also came a little later. It was so good to see them.

Once again, here is our little Annie! Happy as can be!

Friday night, my dad took us all out to Dockside. It's a delicious restaurant sitting on Coeur d'Alene Lake.

Annie was a little fussy at dinner... as you can tell, she has had enough!

She quickly fell asleep on the way home from Dockside... with her thumb and her lovie, as always :)

Annie also had her first ride on a four-wheeler with her grandpa! She loved it!

Nathan surprised us and drove up Saturday night. It was such a fun surprise and we were SO GLAD he was able to come!! :) He was just in time to make it to Brian's Eagle Court of Honor Sunday night. Way to go Brian!

We were able to spend all day Monday with Nathan's family! Annie had her first experience swimming in the lake. She didn't mind it a bit! She just sat there sucking her thumb.

It was so cute watching Annie and Matthew interact. They are going to be great friends!

Beautiful Girls!

After spending some time at the lake we met up with Nathan's grandparents and had a barbeque at the park! It was so fun to catch up and spend some time with them!

Annie spent most of the time lying on her blanket in the grass. She was in heaven!

We are so glad we had the chance to visit and miss the family already! Love you all!!!

Another Sunday Afternoon

Today Annie wore an old dress of Carmen's. It fit her perfectly!

Annie gives Nathan the sweetest smiles! She loves her dad... and so do I :)

Brittany's Visit!

Friday afternoon Brittany, one of my best friends/former roommate from college, came into town!! We had so much fun catching up and talking for hours. Annie enjoyed spending time with her too and sharing a room with her Friday night! :) Thanks for the visit Britt! We miss you already!!
