Best Buds

These girls have so much fun together.
Yesterday they put together a "dance competition". Amy, Emily, Annie, and Shae as the dancers and Daniel was the judge. It was hilarious.

Sunday

Annie gave a talk on Sunday.
She LOVES giving talks and reminds me daily, the week prior, to help her practice and prepare.

In primary they were talking about being honest. Annie raised her hand and said, "When my mom asks me if I'm telling the truth, I want to lie, but I know I will get in trouble if I do. So I tell the truth".

Also, while we were in their waiting for her to give a talk, She raised her hand to announce to the whole primary, "Shae turned three yesterday!"
When I asked her later why the whole primary needed to hear this, she responded, "Well... it's exciting news!"

I love how much they love each other.

Shae Turned Three!

This girl has been with us for THREE years now! It boggles my mind how fast time has flown by.
We love our little fireball.
Shae loves Nemo and Dory... Hence the orange and blue colors.
Daddy made her birthday breakfast - waffles and strawberries.
She opened some of her presents, then I took a few "three-year-old" pictures...
 I love those red lashes!
She insisted on a "silly face".
 Love my Shae Shae!
We went to Red Robin for lunch and then came home to open to rest of the presents.
She ended up with TWO matching games!
 The Finding Nemo Cake
Happy Birthday to Shae!
We are beyond blessed to have her wild, loving, and silly personality in our family.

Two Months

This boy is a happy one.
He is constantly smiling now and telling us stories through his sweet coos.
We love our boy more than words... all 12 pounds of him! So glad he is part of our family!!

Grant's Blessing

March 2nd Grant was blessed in our Auburn ward Sunday morning. He wore the same outfit that his Uncle Shaun was blessed in. Nathan gave him a beautiful blessing. It was a tender, sweet experience.
He usually it such a happy boy, but in these pictures he was quite serious!
That tongue is always making its' appearance.
We had so much support! Thank you to all who came! Grant is very loved.
Our family of five... that sounds so absurd to say!
After the blessing, Carol Ann and Rod were gracious enough to let us crash there place for a luncheon. Nathan made his delicious chili... it was a good meal with GREAT company!
It was so nice to spend time with so much family! Thank you! Thank you! to all who came!! Especially to Carol Ann and Rod for letting us all meet up at their place. Sad I didn't get a picture of them!
We have been blessed to have Grant in our lives. He brings us so much joy.
We love you Grant!

Soaking up the Snow in North Idaho

We recently spent a weekend skiing at Schweitzer. The conditions could not have been better and the girls and Nathan enjoyed every minute of it. I stayed in the cabin with Grant, occasionally making my way out to take a few pictures.

Heading out for day one of skiing...
Grandpa, helping Shae get ready to go!

 Nathan helping Annie...
And.... they're off! Shae's first time!
 Shae and Grandpa
 Annie and Nathan
 Such a gorgeous view.
 Annie, following Nathan's tracks...
She loves her daddy.
Perfect way to end the day... in the hot tub.
Day Two! Shae's all ready to go!
The morning crew... Grandma and Carmen skied with Annie and Nathan skied with Shae Shae.
Go Shae Shae!!
 Shae and Daddy
 Annie and Grandma
Shae was bombing it... this girl has no fear. She was jumping, dancing, and singing the whole way down.
For Annie's last few runs, Grandma and Grandpa decided to take her up on the bigger slopes. She did great!
Oops! Shae lost a ski while on the chair lift!
Chilling with Carmen, watching a movie, after a long day of skiing. These girls were exhausted.
Skiing was a blast! Wish we could go more often!

Nathan left Sunday afternoon and the rest of us stayed through the next week in Hayden. We shopped, played, and soaked up as much snow as we could.
Standing at the top of the hill, singing as loud as she could, "Let it go! Let it go!"
While Grandpa plowed, the girls "helped" him shovel the snow...
Shae scooped up the snow then threw it behind her, landing back on the driveway. It was hilarious. She will figure it out someday :)
The ice crystals were so pretty.
And of coarse the views were breathtaking. I love this backyard.

It was a nice, relaxing visit.
Saturday morning we headed back to Auburn to gear up for Grant's blessing the next day!
