Annie's Dance Recital

This girl danced her heart out today!
We snapped a few pictures before her performance. Side note... she posed on her own :)
Sadie is her little dance buddy!
A few more of her dancing buddies...
The show was awesome! Annie did a fantastic job.
Here are a few post-show pictures...
Way to go Annie! We are so proud of you!

Father's Day

These kiddos have the best...
 EVER!
We had a busy day celebrating this man today!
Breakfast in bed, presents opened, meals prepared, and dessert to follow... he deserved every bit of it.
We adore him.
Simple as that.

Take me out...

We cheered on the Mariners last night!
The game started at 7 which made for a late night for the kiddos. Thankfully, they did great and enjoyed every minute. It was a blast.
Cotton candy, kettle corn, chicken strips, Fish and chips, pizza, licorice, and lemonade... we pigged out. And it was wonderful :)
They played the Texas Rangers. Unfortunately, we lost by one point!
The girls met the Mariners Moose! We walked up the stairs to see him, there was a line, but the moose snatched up Annie and Shae and started playing with them. It was the cutest thing. He took Shae's licorice and pretended to eat it. Made their night.
 This boy...
The game ended around midnight... and it was raining pretty hard by then. Made for a wet walk to the light rail station :)
Here are a few more pictures that were taken on my phone...
He thoroughly enjoyed his first Mariners Game.

Such a great night! Can't wait to go back in July!

Five Months

This boy turned five months on Wednesday!
Grant is a happy boy. He smiles about everything, even when he is exhausted and hungry.
He's a champ.
Grant LOVES the grass.  He is constantly trying to eat it.
About to face plant... or as Shae would call it, "place mat".
Eventually I just let him eat the grass... he sucked the daylights out of those blades.
He is starting to sit up by himself. I think it makes him look older.
He has a LONG tongue and it's always hanging out.
This look always makes me laugh... the classic "Grant look".
And the never ending spitting... it is constant. His shirts are always soaked after an hour or two.
 Spitting again.
 We love our Grant!
He is constantly lighting up the room with his smiles, giggles, sounds and expressions.
Yesterday he started scooting. Heaven help me.

Our Home away from Home.

We had a glorious memorial weekend in Hayden.
We arrived Friday evening and played outside all day Saturday.
Saturday evening we headed over to Dockside for some gooeys.
After filling ourselves up with ice cream, we came home, made a fire, and ate some smores! We were all on a sugar high.
I'm pretty sure Shae was monchin' on this for at least 30 minutes... She never finished it.
Sunday, we went to church then came home and took some much needed naps. The girls noticed everyone was asleep, so they took the liberty of putting themselves down for naps also.
Carmen woke up to find Shae had climbed in bed with her. Sweetest thing.
Sunday evening we went over to Dale and Marilyn's home for a quick visit. The girls loved spending time with their Great Grandpa and Great Grandma. It was nice catching up with them.
Monday morning, Grammy, James, and Hannah came over for a barbecue!
Love this one...
 Washing those dirty feet...
He loves his Grandma!
We headed back to Auburn Monday evening.
It was nice to get our "Hayden fix", although it is still always hard to leave that place.
One day we will live there! One day!
