Fireworks!!

On Saturday night we heard the news that there was going to be some fireworks for this dance festival in Rexburg. Of coarse, we wouldn't pass up the opportunity! We love fireworks! We went with our friends Clay and Jessica and had a lot of fun. We both wore our matching Bubba Gump shirts that we got from Hawaii... not sure why :)

The fireworks were sweet! Here is a picture showing just a small portion of what took place. Our camera isn't that great so it is kind of blurry. We were lying right underneath them... we seriously thought they were going to fall on top of us!

A Day at Lagoon

Yesterday we decided to spend the day at Lagoon. We left at 7:30 am and got home around 1:00 am. It is about a 3 hour drive. We had so much fun with our friends, Dan and Kelsey. Nathan and I had never been to Lagoon, so the Jardines showed us around. Despite the fact that we were burned from the sun and exhausted afterwards, it was so worth it!! Good times :)

Graduation!!!

I graduated on Friday (July 18, 2008) from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. It was a great day! Here is the run down...

To start the evening, here is Nathan and I at the graduation banquet with some delicious food. President Clark and Sister Beck gave a few words of wisdom and we also heard some beautiful musical numbers.

The family at the Graduation Banquet. It was so much fun to have all of them there. I have been blessed with an amazing and supportive family!!  :)

Brother Eyring handing me my diploma.

Me with my diploma after walking down from the stage.

Here are two of my closest friends and they both work at the advising center with me. Debbie (left) is my boss and Ashley (right) is a co-worker. They were both ushers.

Nathan and I after the graduation ceremonies. Can you tell we went to a few high school proms together?? Yep... we've got all the poses down.

My Wonderful Parents :)

The Girls!

This is my sister Carmen. She is ten and a sweetheart.

Me with all the boys!

You could say I was pretty excited. I actually have no idea what I was doing in this picture... but it gives an overall expression of how relieved I am to be graduated. Now, all I have left is student teaching next semester. It is nothing like going to classes... I am very excited for the next step in my life. Despite the fact that I look so happy in this picture, it was kind of hard. I realized how much I appreciated BYU-Idaho. It taught me so much and I have had some amazing experiences throughout the last three and a half years. I guess it's like a bitter sweet situation. I will miss the spirit, the people, and faculty there. I am so proud to be part of the Brigham Young University-Idaho Alumni!

4th of July

Nathan took this whole day off so we could spend it together. We went to the Rexburg 4th of July parade in the morning. It was a lot of fun and they throw a bunch of candy... so that was a plus! :) This picture was taken when we went to Idaho Falls that night to watch a fireworks show. We got there at about 5:00pm so we could get a good seat on the hill. The show didn't start till 10:00pm but it was definitely worth the wait. It was AMAZING. We have both NEVER seen that many fireworks. We are so grateful to live in America!!!
