Yes, I purposely dressed them exactly alike on their 6 month birthday and put them in front of the same background, simply to compare my two babies - Maybe I have too much time on my hands? Ehh... what's done is done :)
After much examination, I have realized that they do not look too much alike. Sure, they may have the same type of smile, nose and eyes, but their coloring is completely different. Their ears and head shape are different and Shae definitely has more rolls while Annie's thickness allows for not as many.
BUT... the overall and OBVIOUS difference between these two, which is not depicted in the pictures, is their personality. Annie was always my relaxed, calm baby while Shae NEVER STOPS MOVING. Annie didn't mind just laying back and enjoying life and Shae feels the need to embrace life as she jumps, scoots, and rolls. Shae has the ability to get to places very quickly and efficiently. Annie hardly cried, talked softly, and giggled. Shae yells, squeals, and laughs - all in a very loud tone.
To wrap this all up, I am raising a completely different baby right now and sometimes it feels all new to me. But... I am so so SO grateful for the change. I hope all of my babies are this different. I love the fact that they are both unique in their own ways. This in turn allows me to love them just the same, but in different ways. Keeps my life exciting!

Oh Nicole, you are too funny! I love it! My mom totally has pictures of all of us girls wearing the same dress at the same age! You're not the only one! It's so fun to look and see what different babies we were! You're such a great mommy! I can't wait to see what your next one is like either!

Oh my! I remember Annie at that age. Oh so cute and from pictures Shae is just as cute. How fun that you put them in the same outfit. Love it.
