Christmas Celebration

This year we spent Christmas with Nathan's family in Clark Fork. We enjoyed every minute! Christmas Eve we had crab and pineapple for dinner then opened up pajamas... as one can see in the picture above.
In this picture we are all waiting to come upstairs to see the presents in the morning. If we look a little tired it may be because it was about 4:30am... SO EARLY!!! But definitely worth it :) Youngest to oldest... from top to bottom we have: Hannah, James, Jessica, Katie & Matthew, Nicole, and Nathan.
We also had the chance to go snowmobiling and sledding. There was so much snow! We are so grateful for the time we had to spend with family and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas!

Baby Room Surprise!!!

Today I came home from work and Nathan had the baby room's door all wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper! When I opened the door this is what I found! I have been eyeing this bedding and crib for a while and Nathan decided to get it and put it together as a Christmas present. I was so surprised!! To the right is the hamper and to the left is the diaper stacker. There is also a real cute window valence that goes with the set. It's PERFECT.

Island Park

Saturday night we drove out to Island Park to go to dinner at this secluded lodge. It had snowed a bunch that day which made for a BEAUTIFUL drive. We went with two other couples. It was basically a "going away" dinner for our friends Clay and Jessica. They will be moving to Utah this upcoming semester and we will miss them!!
The food was delicious!

Halfway There...

Yesterday Nathan and I went to an advising Christmas party! It was so much fun catching up with old co-workers and close friends. They are all amazing girls! They all pitched in and put together this adorable diaper cake! It is made with about 50 rolled up diapers, blankets, baby socks, bottles, and a cute stuffed animal on top! I LOVED IT!!! In case you were wondering, the blanket attached to the stuffed animal says, "thank heaven for little girls"... I agree :)
My good friend Tiff took some maternity pictures for my "halfway mark". Thanks Tiff!
This is just about the only coat that buttons up now... thanks to my mom! It's an early Christmas present :)

Saying Goodbye

Today was my last day student teaching my fourth graders. The teacher and students are all so wonderful and it was extremely hard to leave them! This has definitely been my favorite semester and I appreciate all the experiences that I have had. I have learned so much from all of them. They each hold a special place in my heart. I already miss these students and my cooperating teacher GREATLY!!!

It's a GIRL!!!

This morning we had our second ultrasound and found out we're having a baby girl!! And no... we do not have any names picked out quite yet. We are both extremely excited and I can't wait to start buying clothes! Most importantly, the baby is still healthy and right on track in her growth and development. We have scanned a few of the ultrasound pictures into the computer... the one above is the picture of the head and spine. Pretty neat!
Here is her foot!! So precious :)
And lastly, we have her arm! You can even see her cute little hand and fingers (to the left) if you look closely. We are so thrilled and feel so blessed to welcome this little girl into our family and lives.
