Our crazy, awesome, beautiful weekend.

Last weekend was INSANE. In a good way.
We left Thursday evening and arrived in Utah Friday morning around 8:00 am.
The kids were angels and slept almost the whole way. I slept too... kind of... and Nathan, well he just drove and drove and drove. I'm not sure how he does it.

When we arrived in Utah, we immediately met up with our dear friends, the Jacks.
Nathan then left to go golfing with Spencer (once again, not sure how he does it) while I took it easy with Tiffany and the kiddos. We played for hours. It was SO nice to spend the day catching up in the sunshine.
All of them! Between the Jacks and us there are SEVEN kids! Mind blown.
Love this gal.
Before we parted ways with Jacks, the adults headed over to the Cheesecake Factory for some DELICIOUS food and cheesecake, while the kids (minus Grant) stayed home with a babysitter. It was heavenly.

We arrived at the hotel Friday night and the Buies met up with us for a quick swim! Once again, so nice to catch up, even if it was quick.
If only we lived in Utah! Then we would have friends ;)
By the time we all climbed into bed Friday night, it was pretty late. Needless to say, it was extremely difficult waking up Saturday morning for a 9am wedding!

Right as we arrived at the temple everything was put into perspective. The drive, our exhaustion, everything was ok. It was a GORGEOUS temple. Officially one of my favorites. I loved the structure, detail, and unique qualities.
The sealing ceremony was beautiful. So happy for Brian and Tess.
While we waited for the happy couple to come out, I took pictures... lots of them.

All of the sisters... minus Tess!
Grant and his Great Aunt Melanie...
Shae and her Great Aunt Maureen (who she is named after)...
My sweet boys... ug, this one tugs at my heart strings. I melt.
Shae was so anxious to see Grandpa. They are best friends.
My cute mom, in her cute cardigan.
Grant was showing off for his Great Grandpa and Grandma Hill.
And for the main event... Brian and Tess Duffy! Adorable.
The girls were admiring her dress all day.
Pictures are always fun for the little ones ;) In between shots, they played.
Grant even climbed a few trees.
SUCH a beautiful couple.
 And a beautiful temple.
Next, we made our way over to the wedding luncheon.
This time Tess was able to join us in the "sisters picture". We love her.
After the luncheon, we napped.
Then we partied at the reception. I loved the location. Such a unique spot.
Grandma and Grandpa Hill with their Great Grandchildren!
Notice Annie is right in front, ready to catch the bouquet... little does she know, she has a few more years :)
It was a fun reception with delicious desserts and fabulous company.
We finished off our night with a little LATE night swimming.
The next morning, Sunday, we hopped back in the car (actually it was more like we CRAWLED back in the car) and drove to Rexburg for Aubrey's blessing.
Brad did a beautiful job. It was definitely worth the extra trip.
The highlight of my day was holding Aubrey during the meeting. Unfortunately, I had to give her up right after so we could make our way back home.

Nathan needed to be at work by 5:00 am, Monday morning. So we had to leave Rexburg right away to make it there in time. Below are a few pictures of us driving and the the movie set up Nathan created using his boy scout knots :)
Fortunately for us, the kids, once again, were angels and we were able to make it home in plenty of time for Nathan to get to work.

In those few days, we drove over 2,000 miles and Nathan got about 15 hours of sleep.
It may have been a short, strenuous trip, but the sealing, blessing, and catching up with family and friends made it SO worth it. We had a blast. It was quite the adventure for our little family in our little Honda Accord.

Beautiful pictures! Can you believe that just over five years ago we were crazy married friends, no kids, pregnant/trying really hard to get pregnant, and now there are SEVEN?! HOLY COW. We probably need another David Archuleta concert to clear our minds and bring us back down from all of this responsibility.

Obviously D didn't say all of that. It was me, T.
