Our Easter festivities were simple this year.
The kids woke up to their baskets filled with treats and toys.
After church we ATTEMPTED to take a few pictures in their Easter Sunday outfits... "attempted" being the key word.
Shae said she could not open her eyes and Grant was entranced with the grass.
So we decided to change our location. Grant did not appreciate this change and Shae still could not open her eyes.
And... this is the best we got :)
Papa and Andrea happened to be in town visiting, so we were able to spend the evening with them.
We ate a delicious Easter dinner, then headed outside to play.
I am grateful for Easter and the opportunity we have to celebrate Jesus Christ's life and resurrection. I know that He died for us and lives again!
