We didn't spend the week of Christmas in our home, so I decided to document it all before we left!
I made new stockings this year and let the kids pick the fabric.
We spent the week of Christmas at the cabin. Thanks Mom and Dad!
We all skied our guts out. It was exhausting, but so much fun!
Brian, Tess, Shaun, Carmen, Grandma, Grandpa, and our little family were all there. It was a party.
This picture was taken right before Annie fell in the creek. I received a phone call from my mom in a panic, so I quickly clipped on my skis and headed down there. Luckily, she didn't land in the water, just snow. We pulled her out and off they went! It's funny now, but I was stressing, crying, basically dying in the moment. Just another classic adventure with Grandma!
Mr. Grant was tearing it up out there too! He was the cutest little skier on the mountain.
Tess and I helped the girls build a few gingerbread houses.
Shae Shae and I had a fun ski day. She's a great buddy, follows you EVERYWHERE you go! Even if it's off a jump that she's not expecting.
I love documenting the whole "getting ready" process. Especially with kids... it's not easy.
Off they go!
Warming up with some grilled cheese sandwiches and hot chocolate...
Oh Tess. We love her.
Finally, Christmas morning came along!
It was magical.
After waking up at the crack of dawn, these kids decided to head out for some early afternoon skiing.
To say they were exhausted and ready for a nap when they came home, would be an understatement.
We had a very Merry Christmas.
