A few days after Grant was born, Mom flew in to help me. She did EVERYTHING... Cook, clean and keep the girls busy and happy. Shae was attached to her hip and both girls were constantly talking her ear off.
I pretty much hibernated in my bedroom with Grant - sleeping, eating (meals prepared and brought to me by mom), and listening to the hilarious conversations going back and forth between my mom and the girls.

Towards the end of the week, Dad and Carmen came to meet Grant as well. The girls were thrilled to have so many visitors!
Annie and Shae soaked up every minute they could with Aunt Carmen. They had a few dance parties, painted fingernails, and read endless amounts of books.
Thanks for coming fam! Especially Mom! Couldn't have made it through without you!

I love Shae's face in the last picture. What a happy time! I want to call you and hear about it, but don't want to interrupt a nap, if you happen to get one!!
Grant looks like he's got Shae's red hair now in those pictures :) So happy for you all!
