Visiting Home

Last week Annie and I were able to go home for a visit. The drive there, Annie was restless, which led to a few pit stops. This picture below was taken at the first stop...
Hanging with her Uncles... She grew quite close to them throughout the week.
It was the sweetest thing, Annie held a tight grip on Shaun's finger during her nap. She obviously didn't want Shaun to leave :)
Another nap...
Monday we decided to go swimming! Annie loved every bit of it.
Aunt Carmen came swimming too. Annie enjoyed splashing and chasing her.
Playing with the pool ball...
We swam for a good two hours! Annie was exhausted.
Annie spent a lot of her time swinging. I think this picture does a great job expressing her excitement in the swing :)
Jumping on the trampoline...
We went to Cabela's one day... Annie enjoyed the aquarium.
Grandpa and Annie... She loved the dog and any other animals she saw.
Walking around in the backyard... The weather was beautiful!
Aunt Carmen and Annie...
Uncle Brian, Grandpa, Aunt Carmen, and Annie... She would not take this hat off. It was hilarious how much she enjoyed the fact that it was on her head! She kept reaching up to pat her head simply to verify that it was still there.
Uncle Brian took out his endowments the last day I was there. He is preparing to serve a two year mission for our church in Uruguay! We are so proud of him and I feel so blessed to have been there. Big thanks to Carmen for watching Annie that whole time!
After the temple, we went out to eat. Annie hung out in this "ice cream truck" for a while as everyone was finishing up their meal.
She did not want to get out... Determined to stay in the truck.
I had to throw this picture in too... Her face is priceless!
Thanks mom and dad for letting us come and intrude for a week! We had so much fun! Love you and miss you :)
