Cope Family Reunion

Last week we drove up to Coeur d'Alene again for Nathan's family reunion. We spent the first night camping on the Coeur d'Alene river. Click on the picture below to see Annie's sweet smile... it makes this picture so perfect :)
Nathan chopped and gathered most of the firewood.
He then had to carry it across the river... check out those bulging muscles! :)
Annie enjoyed sitting by the fire to stay warm. This picture was taken the next morning... it was pretty cold.
Matthew and Annie played together a lot. They became great buddies.
Nathan showing Annie how to draw on a rock...
Nathan took Annie for a quick hike to the top of this cliff. Do you spot the orange shirt?
Hanging out by the water...
The next day was spent at the North Idaho Fair.
Annie LOVED going on the rides! She would cry when she had to get off.
She can't go a day without her nap!
Once she woke up, we took her to the petting zoo. She would chase the goats around and try to pet each one.
Saying "hi" to the baby cow...
We had tons of fun. It is always so nice to visit home and spend time with family. Thanks for everything Copes!

Crescent Bar

Last week my family spent about six days at Crescent Bar. We spent most of our time on the boat and in the pool. Both were beautiful and relaxing.
The boys playing chicken...
Annie had her first tube ride. This girl has no fear.
Annie's absolute FAVORITE thing to do was helping Grandpa (also known as "Ra Ra") drive the boat. She grew very close to him while she was there.
Nathan and Brad buried Shaun... it took a big hole and lots of sand... he's a big guy :)
This picture was taken the day before Brian left on his mission. We miss him already!
Shaun, Brian, and Nathan thinking they're pretty cool on the tube :)
Carmen and I
The day my parents took Brian to the airport, Nathan, Carmen, Annie, and I took the boat out for a quick ride. It was during sunset and gorgeous!

Picking out rocks with Grandma
The top of the sand dune
Playing "King of the Tube"
Annie liked being buried in the sand.
I was able to wakeboard a bit... careful and cautious to protect the baby :)
Nathan "shredded the nar" as well (quoting from brian).
All of the water led to an exhausted baby.
Annie, me, and Grandma
Hanging out on the boat
Annie loved the sandbar, if you couldn't already tell by the pure joy on her face.
The last day we were in Crescent Bar, the Duffy side of the family came for a quick visit. It was so nice to see them again!
Thanks for the fun trip mom and dad! We enjoyed every minute!!

Boise

July 30th, the Hill family came together to celebrate my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary.
Grandma and Annie
Annie enjoyed being pushed on the tractor... Although, she would have liked to ride her great grandpa's real one :)
We were finally able to see Brad, who just returned home from his mission. This was Annie's first time meeting him.
My grandparents had the chance to relive their first dance.
My grandparents have the most amazing yard. This tunnel is built into the sledding/slip-in-slide hill. Annie slowly walked through it...
Reaching for Grandpa...
"I made it!"
Swinging with Daddy
Relaxing on the hammock
The next day we had a pool party. Annie LOVED the water.

The boys... waiting for food.
Happy Anniversary to my Grandpa and Grandma Hill! We love you!

I'm going to miss them...

My former roommates (Michelle, Brittany, Lydia and Madi) graduated and left BYU-Idaho today. Michelle, Brittany, Lydia, and I met when we were freshmen and we've been best friends ever since. (Michelle and Brittany are in the picture below)
I was able to attend Michelle's graduation with her family.
Its been a bitter-sweet day. Congrats to all of the graduates, but I am very sad to see you all go! Love you all!!!
