Oh snow... how I have missed you!

We spent the few days before Christmas at the Cabin, soaking up some snow. Brad, Katelyn, and Aubrey came over for a visit, so we soaked up every minute we could get with them!

Nathan was working, so the girls skied with Grandpa.

It was a beautiful few days.

We had some spare time, while we were there, to make our annual gingerbread house.

Our Visit with Santa

This year Aunt Carmen joined us for our Santa visit!

Grant and Shae were a little unsure, Annie was thrilled, and Carmen was overjoyed :) 

Eleven Months

Ten days ago, Grant hit his eleven month mark!

Life has been crazy busy, but I did manage to snap a few pictures... it just took me a while to get them edited... non-the-less, here they are!

He's not a huge fan of his hat these days... if you hadn't already noticed from the pictures.

Grant has been taking steps, getting into EVERYTHING (especially the Christmas tree), keeps his sisters in line by grunting at them, eats all the time, laughs all the time, loves to throw anything he gets his hands on, walks around with his hammer in his hand (our future Thor), spits constantly, and loves to be with his grandma.

We love you Grant and your spirited personality!

 The day after Thanksgiving, we drove over to the cabin to stay a night.

We moved to Spokane the day before Thanksgiving and the boys unloaded everything Thanksgiving day! Needless to say, we were exhausted. It was nice to have the day to relax at Grandma and Grandpa's while they cooked!

Tess and Carmen made some apple turkeys with the girls. Shae's looked like some kind of model of the solar system.

 The food was fabulous and the company was even better!
